Position Summary Join the Coram/CVS team as a Patient Intake Coordinator and you will support the Enteral Nutrition Center with the initial admission of patients onto service with the Company. In this role, you will maintain communication and workflow between the branch, Sales staff, Insurance Verification team, and referral sources, helping to ensure new patients are receiving excellent care while on our services. As a Patient Intake Coordinator you will… <ul><li> Process orders from referral sources and patients, responding to phone and fax inquiries, and resolving patient complaints</li><li> Assess patient needs and document referral requests for coordination of care.</li><li> Provide information pertaining to equipment supplies and services to applicable departments in order to bring a patient on service with the Company</li><li> Coordinate with the Insurance Verification Team to process patient details and collect benefit coverage information</li><li> Relaying insurance coverage to referral sources and patients and discuss forms required for billing with patients</li><li>Training will occur virtually & must be able to work alone </li></ul>This is a full-time, permanent, benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Required Qualifications <ul><li> Minimum two years experience in customer service</li><li> Minimum two years experience in healthcare</li><li> Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Insurance terminology</li><li>Medical Benefit knowledge</li><li>typing skills 40-50wpm</li><li>multi-tasking</li><li>using multiple screens</li><li>Call Center experience</li><li>Basic math skills </li></ul>Education High School diploma or GED Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.45 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
