- he Computer Numeric Control Instructor teaches credit courses within the Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Technician Diploma program at the Innovation in Manufacturing Education Center (I-MEC) on the Central Campus in Janesville.
- Courses will be taught in the Blackboard learning management system platform in a lab environment to meet the needs of this growing industry.
- This position teaches courses in the areas of study including Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming; Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM) software; precision measuring devices including a CMM; precision CNC mills, and precision CNC turning; blueprint reading.
- Collaborate with instructors, advisors and staff in a team effort to help improve student success in the program’s flexible teaching and learning environment.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Numeric Control, Tool & Die, or other related field, or an associate degree plan (a plan to obtain an associate degree in a related field within 3 years of date of hire) or completion of an indentured apprenticeship in Machine Tool or Tool & Die with a minimum of four (4) years (8,000 hours) of relevant experience in CNC programming and operations.
