- The CNA Instructor will be responsible to provide students with the skills necessary to meet the physical, physiological, and psychological needs of a patient.
- The objective of the CNA instructor is to help students to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the PA State Licensing Exam and being emotionally prepared to work in a facility.
- Teach CNA training program using the course curriculum in conjunction with training on the required skills assessment in the clinical lab setting.
- Education Requirements: Must hold a current RN or LPN license for a minimum of 2 years, and have a minimum of 1 year experience in long term care facility as an RN or LPN. Teaching experience preferred.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain the Train the Educator (TTE) Nurse Aide Instructor certificate.
