- The Planning and Development Division of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities (PRCF) implements and oversees a variety of projects from initial concept development and scoping through construction and warranty periods.
- Due to the implementation and oversite of projects associated with vertical assets, candidates will be required to work closely with the Facilities Maintenance Division and demonstrate general knowledge in one, or a combination of, building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, locksmith, masonry, carpentry, gates and overhead doors, etc.
- A Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities (PRCF) Project Manager is responsible for performing professional work in managing the planning and development functions within the City's parks and recreation areas and community facilities.
- Site planning includes: recreation programming, park maintenance, park land, land acquisition and development, space needs analysis, and building systems analysis and infrastructure lifecycle replacement plans.
- Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Park Administration, Recreation Management, Natural Resources Planning, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
