- Assist AAG's and Bureau staff in drafting/preparation of legal documents for state and federal litigation (e.g., legal research, formatting review and/or drafting of pleadings, discovery demands, motions, memorandum, affidavits, privilege logs, and inserting table of authorities into briefs, etc.)
- Coordinate process service through contracted service companies or in-house service by mail or at the Department of States office.
- Organize and manage litigation documents, including appendices, agency administrative records, discovery, and FOIL responses.
- Use Concordance, Relativity, Adobe Acrobat 2017, Microsoft SharePoint and/or OneDrive, or other electronic and hard copy document management software.
- Interface with and be the point of contact for electronic discovery coordination in EPB, working closely with the Practice Technologies Group (a division within the Information Technology Bureau).
