- Job Description The Pain Management Technician-LPN provides support for physicians and RN's throughout pain procedures by preparing, providing and caring for instruments and equipment, and maintaining a sterile field.
- The Licensed Practical Nurse performs selective nursing acts in the care of the ill, injured, or infirm patient under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provide nursing care in accordance which departmental and hospital policy and procedures.
- The person in this position works under supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required on the Gulf Breeze Hospital and Baptist Hospital campuses, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
- Qualifications Graduate of Practical Nursing Program or completion of a Vocational Certification from an accredited program in Practical Nursing BLS through American Heart Association Current LPN licensure in the state of Florida IV therapy certification.
