Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician to join our team. This position will be primarily outpatient/office visits. We are a partner with Holy Name Medical Center and continue to grow our footprint in Northern New Jersey. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide primary medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and injuries </li><li>Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical history </li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies </li><li>Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical evidence </li><li>Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment </li><li>Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care </li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks) </li><li>Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li> Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. </li><li> Board certification. </li><li> Valid medical license in NJ. </li><li> Proficient in a wide range of medical procedures, including gastric lavage, catheterization, psychopharmacology, administering injections, airway management, tube feeding, and dermabrasion </li><li> Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills </li><li> Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families </li><li> Ability to work well in a team-based healthcare environment </li><li> Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills </li></ul>Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
