- Reports to the Practice Manager, the Ophthalmic Clinical Coordinator is a working Ophthalmic Clinical Coordinator that provides clinical support to the physicians & APPs and is a coach/mentor for Ophthalmic clinical associates.
- The Ophthalmic Clinical Coordinator is also responsible for compliance with all OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations and ensuring completion of all duties vital to business operations.
- Accurate and timely completion of referral process/outpatient test scheduling, and pre-certification.
- Required : An approved credential, such as Certified Ophthalmology Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmology Technician (COT)
- Candidate must be knowledgeable in Ophthalmology in order to perform essential Ophthalmic duties.
