- Job Title:Open Faculty Search - Diagnostic Imaging Department:Veterinary Medicine | Veterinary Clinical Sciences The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine announces an outstanding opportunity for a faculty position (clinical-track or tenure-track) in diagnostic imaging.
- The diagnostic imaging service is located within the comprehensive Veterinary Medical Center and referral center that includes state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, wireless DR systems; 3 ultrasound units; a 128 slice, multidetector CT (used for both large and small animals); a nuclear medicine suite; a 3T MRI with a full suite of imaging applications (neurologic, orthopedic, cardiac, vascular) for both large and small animals; and a linear accelerator with MLC and onboard imaging.
- Access to an on-campus 7T magnet, PET/CT and SPECT/CT is also available through the OSU Division of Imaging Research.
- The Ohio State University has been ranked third nationally on the list of best places to work in academia, according to The Scientist magazine.
- Tenure-track candidates are given at least 50% off-clinic time to meet expectations for developing an extramurally funded research program in diagnostic imaging that includes collaboration with other scientists, advising of graduate student research, and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
