- Loyola University Health System (LUHS) and the Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine are offering a full-time faculty position on the clinical educator track (CET) for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist who is fellowship trained in oculoplastic surgery.
- We are seeking graduates of American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) approved fellowship programs as well as non-ASOPRS programs.
- Currently, the Department of Ophthalmology manages over 65,000 patient visits per year on the Loyola (Maywood and 4 other satellite offices) and neighboring Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital sites.
- The Department of Ophthalmology has 8 full-time research scientists.
- A dedicated team including the Program Director (PD), the Vice Chair of Education and the Chief Resident manages the integrated residency training program with four residents per year.
