- Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.
- Experience working with a diverse patient population in neuro, trauma, ortho, and hand therapy
- Your Responsibilities as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
- Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapist assistant program
