- We are looking for a full-time Occupational Health Nurse to support our client site in Boise, ID.
- The Occupational Health Nurse employs best practices that require early intervention and the setting of realistic expectations for disability duration, return-to-work, and return to functionality.
- The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for providing injury and illness case management and assisting with other occupational and environmental health services, as needed, while maintaining a professional and patient centered approach in an occupational setting.
- Provides acute injury case management for injured workers in conjunction with the Nurse Practitioner, Consulting Medical Director, Environmental Health & Safety, and Third-Party Administrator.
- Coordinates employee health screening and surveillance programs including new hire, fit-for-duty, return-to-work, medical surveillance, pulmonary function, hearing tests, exit exams and substance of abuse screenings.
