- The ideal candidate for the Occupational EMT/Paramedic is self-driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills used to provide excellent hands-on care to employees within a light-industrial environment while utilizing a process improvement mindset to proactively identify opportunities to enhance employee health and reduce work-related hazards and injuries.
- Responsibilities The Occupational EMT/Paramedic will be reportable to the Corporate Medical Director and is responsible for representing the Health Services Department consistent with the company's core values.
- Dispense over-the-counter medications and provide/fit durable medical equipment for same.
- Treat any life-threatening emergency condition for the purpose of saving life and stabilizing serious condition prior to transport to clinic or hospital setting off site (May include application of CPR, or utilization of AED unit), Check and monitor vital signs and biometrics (height, weight, BMI, BP readings).
- Required Skills Required: To perform this job successfully the individual must have the following or equivalent: AA Degree required Be able to operationally coordinate and administer all requirements of the position Have valid state of Pennsylvania licensure and current CPR/BLS certification Have strong computer and other technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.)
