- Penn State Health has an opportunity for a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in our Children’s Hospital.
- The Nurse Practitioner provides care to a variety of patients including neurosurgical, surgical, trauma, hematology/oncology, nephrology, pulmonology, cardiac, and post-operative cardiac surgery, and manages all modes of mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and CRRT and performs bone marrow transplants but not solid-organ transplants.
- Master's Degree in a Critical Care or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program with a minimum of one year CRNP experience (which could include clinical rotations or relevant clinical experience in applicable specialty) required and three (3) critical care experience as a staff nurse required.
- Currently licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
