- The Nurse Manager oversees and manages the clinical and operational activities within the Department of Medicine including Women's Gastrointestinal Health, Endoscopy Unit, OB Medicine, Endocrinology, and Center for Primary Care. Responsible for Women & Infants Department of Medicine clinical operations, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy, and ambulatory clinics including satellite sites.
- There is a twenty-four hour accountability for program manager and program planning.
- Performs administrative duties, such as developing budgets in conjunction with the practice administrator, manages human resources, ensures regulatory compliance, and performs other job-related duties as required.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Masters degree or proof of academic achievement toward a Masters degree in Nursing or related field and must be currently enrolled in a Masters program with a targeted date of completion preferred.
- Must have five to seven years nursing and supervisory experience in an outpatient setting, such as hospital clinic, health center, or large private practice, as well as teaching experience and quality improvement activities.
