- This position is responsible for attending and successfully completing the Georgia Regional Academy's 12-week program to become a Post Certified Police Officer.
- Upon successful graduation from the Georgia Regional Academy, the incumbents status will change from Non-Certified Police Officer ($44,000.00 annually) to a Certified Police Officer ($53,482.28 annually).
- All essential duties will be assigned by the Training Division within the Henry County Police Department.
- Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, temperature and noise extremes, unsafe structures, heights, confined spaces, traffic hazards, bright/dim lights, toxic agents, animal/wildlife attacks, animal/human bites, explosives, firearms, violence, disease, pathogenic substances, or rude/irate customers.
