As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Step-down unit, you will provide care to patients who suffer from valve replacement/repair, aneurysm repair, Maze, radiofrequency ablation, pulmonary vein isolation, pacemaker and defibrillator implant/removal and robotic assisted surgery. An RN in this role will learn to provide direct nursing care, administer prescribed medications, prepare patient care plans and perform thorough bedside daily rounds. Work alongside seasoned nurses who are eager to educate and coach new graduates.
