- The Neurosurgery Department at Wexner College of Medicine seeks an early-stage investigator to establish a translational research program focused on the characterization and prediction of human brain states associated with cognition and neuropsychiatric disease.
- The faculty will work within the NeuroTech Institute to develop novel methods and applications for applied systems neuroscience and network control theory.
- The successful candidate will have expertise in multi-modal data integration (i.e. electrocorticography, fMRI, psychophysics), biomarkers of cognition and disease phenotypes, dynamical systems, and machine learning/artificial intelligence.
- Required: PhD. Scholarly independence, research integrity, exceptional interpersonal skills, expertise in responsible conduct of research, and excellence in scientific writing and communication abilities.
- Desired: Five years of experience in clinical multi-modal, multi-scale data integration (inclusive of graduate work and postdoctoral training).
