- Reporting to the Unit Manager, the successful Neuropsychologist will be part of a Neuropsychology team.
- As part of the multidisciplinary team and within the context of a Family Centered Care service delivery model, the ACH Neuropsychology Service provides assessment, treatment, intervention, and consultation to children and their families who are experiencing complex developmental, medical, and concomitant behavioral, academic and psychological difficulties associated with neurological and medical diagnoses.
- Programs and clinics currently served by the Neuropsychology Service include Neurology, Neuro-oncology, Hematology, Neurosurgery, Calgary Zone Refractory Epilepsy Surgery Program, Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program, Genetics, Cardiology, and Metabolics.
- Description: As a Neuropsychologist you will provide advanced clinical services (including neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis, and/or intervention), consultation and education to the interprofessional team and patients/families.
- As a Neuropsychologist you are expected to lead, facilitate, and/or participate in program, policy, and procedure development, service planning, staff development, quality improvement and evaluation, and/or research activities as identified by the needs of the service area(s).
