- In addition, faculty may participate in other learning activities such as Foundations of Clinical Medicine, resident didactic series, Grand Rounds, morning report, noon conference, and other formal educational programs for undergraduate and post-graduate learners.
- Service | Faculty are expected to work with institutional staff and administration to attain the strategic objectives of VCU Health System, including patient safety, patient satisfaction, maintenance and enhancement of public perception, and fiscal health.
- Clinical | Faculty will be working with the Divisions of Nephrology and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine as an Attending Physician on rotations that include: inpatient nephrology consults with a focus on patients with liver disease; inpatient and outpatient dialysis; and inpatient critical care rotations at the main campus in VCU Downtown.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and completion of accredited fellowship in General Nephrology
