Rainbow Music Therapy Services is a client-centered music therapy agency with an integrative approach.  We serve individuals with various disabilities and neurodivergence of all abilities, ages pre-school through adult in the SF Greater Bay Area.  We provide individual and group music therapy services for all ability levels. 

Position: Independent contractor position/s.  Looking for either one full time or two part time candidates. Locations are the Peninsula, East bay, Contra Costa, Solano, and Marin. Days and schedule can be flexible. Providing individual and group music therapy sessions in a variety of locations and settings for a diverse range of ages and abilities. Settings can include group homes, schools, and private clients. Looking for a music therapist to provide consistent weekly clinical sessions and attend monthly team supervision meetings. Applicant must have reliable transportation and equipment and be able to provide both in-person music therapy as well as Tele-health. This position requires travel to multiple sites. 

Requirements:  Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, MT-BC status.
Preferred Qualifications: 
•	One year or more experience with autism, mild to severe/profound disabilities, and school-age population 
•	Proficiency on guitar, piano, percussion and voice 
•	Experience leading groups 
•	Ability to work from an integrative approach to music therapy.  

We are seeking a reliable individual with strengths in communication, creativity and time management skills.  Due to the relationship-based nature of our work, we seek a professional who can commit to a minimum of nine months to one year in the position. Ideally, we are looking for someone who wants to be long term.
