- The MST Therapist is responsible for providing evidence-based intensive family and community-based treatment for at-risk youth with intensive needs and their families.
- MST intervention is a short-term (three to five months), intensive, and community-based clinical intervention aimed at promoting pro-social behavior and interrupting the child's involvement with the juvenile justice system.
- A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field from a four-year college or university with minimum of two years of experience working in services for families and/or youth or master's degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area.
- Professional licensure as LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or LMSW under clinical supervision, or full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW preferred.
- Ensure fidelity to MST service models as promulgated by the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and MST Services, Inc.
