- Performs a variety of complex diagnostic MRI procedures, with the primary responsibility of completing diagnostic studies from inception to completion under the direction of the radiologist.
- Maintain a positive imaging environment for our patients and act as a patient liaison to the radiologist.
- Procedure is explained in laymen’s terms using educational/informational aids (books,pamphlets, interpreter, etc.)
- Proper catheter or needle is selected and venipuncture is introduced following established standard precaution guidelines Correct IV contrast is selected and correct amount for administration is prepared according to established protocols Appropriate injection parameters are selected and injection is monitored according to established guidelines.
