- Operates dump truck, combination truck, jetter trailer, backhoe, mini excavator, front-end loader, skid steer, bush hog tractors, tamps, air compressors, saws, and other small and medium-sized equipment in the construction and maintenance of municipal water and sewer systems.
- Works around heavy construction equipment and all types of traffic; Repairs tools and equipment of a less complex nature and perform general maintenance on all small equipment; Uses small hand tools, including shoveling, raking, etc.
- Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform one or more of the following: operate machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performs mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as carpenters, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
