- The Systems Performance, Estimation and Algorithms Department (SPEAD) performs algorithm development and evaluation as well as modeling, simulation, and analysis for enterprise through system level national security space customers emphasizing Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) sensors, missile warning/missile tracking (MW/MT), resiliency threat assessments, space domain awareness (SDA) and space security.
- The selected candidate will provide project leadership in threat characterization and radar modeling and simulation.
- Lead the technical development of the Advanced Sensor Performance Evaluation & Concept Toolkit (ASPECT) and related radar and active sensor modeling efforts.
- Experience in systems engineering analysis of radars and space surveillance systems including any or all of the following: system-of-systems architectures, system and sensor level evaluation and simulation, mission performance assessment with emphasis on single and multi-target tracking, detection and estimation, sensor tasking and scheduling, system error analysis, and system integration
