- The Psychotherapist’s primary role as a part of the Crisis Team, is to complete screenings for individuals in various stages of psychiatric crises, provide de-escalation and stabilization interventions, and assess for disposition and aftercare recommendations on a rotating, “on-call” schedule, but they will have additional clinical responsibilities in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Program.
- Provide individual and family crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization in various settings including remotely and in the community
- Complete crisis assessments for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing psychiatric crises
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to provide disposition recommendations and ensure a warm hand-off for next level of care
- Work with other members of the Mobile Crisis Response Team to respond in our catchment area (Pilsen, Little Village, Lawndale)
