- As the operator of a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), we are broadly engaged across all aspects of space- delivering innovative solutions that span satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems for defense, civil and commercial customers.
- The Space Based Sensing Division/Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Operations and Sustainment Department supports Space Systems Command Space Sensing OPIR divisions, supporting development of future ground system capability evolutions as well as sustainment of current DoD OPIR Missile Warning systems.
- This position will follow a hybrid work model, offering partial remote work as business needs allow.
- Collaborate with local and remote software developers to design, develop, and code new Aerospace Missile Warning and Battlespace Awareness analysis tools in Python
- Demonstrated coding experience with Python and associated data science, engineering, or scientific related Python libraries
