- As a member of the Advanced Microelectronic Solutions (AMS) Department, the individual would provide engineering product and processing support for Raytheon’s microelectronics foundry in Andover, MA. The role of microelectronics product engineer is responsible for the successful processing of compound semiconductor wafers to produce integrated circuits with performance, yield, and cost meeting the needs of internal, DoD, or external customers.
- The ideal candidate will have intimate knowledge of the performance requirements of microelectronics products, how they are modeled and designed to function within the process technology, and the fundamental device physics driving their performance.
- Exposure to integrated circuit design, typical performance parameters of microwave circuits, DC and RF test methods, and automated inspection tools and methods
- Basic understanding of discrete semiconductor devices and monolithic circuit components and their electrical characteristics
- Proficient in statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods
