We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Prof II Masters PRN like you to be a part of our team.<h5>Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>The Mental Health Professional II is to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care by providing supervised mental health services to patients and their loved ones. Their responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering psycho-education, leading process groups, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions in one-on-one, family, and group therapy.What you will do in this Role:<ul><li>Conducts one-on-one, group, and family psychoeducational and process groups.</li><li>Develops treatment plans and attends treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis.</li><li>Assesses environment and patient’s safety status and reports/responds to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patient's condition.</li><li>Identifies risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement).</li><li>Completes assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements, as appropriate to scope.</li><li>Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patients’ discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.</li><li>Conducts post-discharge follow-up as indicated.</li></ul><h6>What qualifications you will need:</h6><ul><li>Masters in Social Work</li><li>Currently registered as a Licensed Master in Social Work (LMSW) in the state(s) of practice, according to law and regulation</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) & Crisis Prevention Intervention required</li><li>Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) preferred</li></ul>Schedule: <ul><li>Per Diem Colleagues agree to be available to work a minimum of five (5) shifts within each four-week schedule as detailed below:</li><li>One (1) of those shifts must be a Weekend shift, OR; the Per Diem Colleague may agree to only work Weekends and commit to work a minimum of four (4) weekend shifts within each four-week Schedule</li><li>Per Diem Colleagues agree to be available to work at least one (1) shift on one (1) major holiday and (2) minor holidays</li></ul> Founded in 1974, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is a 317-bed acute care hospital.
