- Completion of an acceptable Medical Assistant Certification Training Program.
- Certification through a Board approved agency is preferred; i.e. American Association of Medical Assistants (AMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CMAA), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
