- Description /Preferred QualificationsResponsibilitiesDesign subsystems for precision-motion platforms used in wafer inspection machines.
- Complete design process including; requirements, scheduling, design, analysis, prototype testing, and BOM structure.
- Conduct various analyses and simulations, such as thermal, vibration and FEA modeling, and will also perform solid modeling design using Pro/E and generate detailed drawings, design review presentations, procurement of prototype parts.
- Drive system integration, prototype testing, and handoff to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with other engineering groups such as Systems Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure seamless integration at the system levelDuring prototype testing, be the expert in servo control, Firmware, and SW Engineers to resolve any issues and optimize performance.
