- The position interacts with other technical groups on site (process engineering, maintenance), corporate technical networks and peers, and vendors/suppliers as needed to resolve problems and improve plant reliability and performance.
- During a typical day you will apply technical knowledge to analyze causes of long term reliability issues, execute expense and capital projects, provide general assistance trouble shooting day-to-day issues or provide technical training to less experienced engineers.
- The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in the refining or petrochemical industry.
- Basic understanding of Reliability data analysis and Reliability engineering concepts
- Basic understanding of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI)
