- You will perform Installations, analyses, evaluations and functions in support of the Diesel Readiness System (DRS).
- You will examine diesel engine systems / equipment onboard ships and ashore (such as Land Based Test Sites and Regional Maintenance Facilities) by inspection, testing, and discussions.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. Navy shipboard marine main propulsion and auxiliary diesel engine systems and support equipment and U.S. Navy policy governing this equipment.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with the U.S. Navy Diesel Readiness System (DRS).
