- The State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health Services has a full time vacancy for Senior Planner.
- To coordinate, organize, analyze, and supervise the analysis, evaluation and integration of data into Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program planning for medium and long-range goals; to assure adherence to sound principles of epidemiology in the analysis, interpretation and utilization of survey data; to assure that the State Systems Development Initiative (SSDI) enhances the availability and utility of data for planning and tracking MCH program goals.
- Reviews scientific and technical reports and epidemiologic analyses; compiles and summarizes findings for annual statewide needs assessment for the MCH Title V Block Grant program; presents findings to MCH staff, partners, clients and stakeholders; recommends modifications to MCH policies and program objectives to optimize outcomes as population health indicators evolve, and department, division or section priorities are adapted to meet changing public health needs and conditions.
- Oversees the implementation of data linkages by the MCH Epidemiologist.
- Implements and facilitates grant reporting for the MCH Title V Block Grant, SSDI, and AIM (Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health) Capacity Grant; formulates and monitors multi-year grant budgets; supervises and guides MCH staff in program planning, grant writing, budgeting and fiscal management; responds to grant funders’ inquiries, suggestions and requests; assures compliance with federal and state regulations.
