- The Master Machinist will perform a wide range of metal fabricating activities in support of process and equipment development and maintenance, creation of product dies, and tooling and prototyping for new product development.
- Applying a working knowledge of machine shop fabrication and equipment techniques, this person will: execute assigned projects and duties with minimal supervision; have a working and practical knowledge of general machine shop protocols, and interface with various functional groups including Engineering, Operations, and Quality.
- Graduation/certification from an accredited vocational school or technical college with master level training in the aforementioned areas of machining and metal fabrication; or seven to ten years of relevant work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent in the safe operation of a range of machine shop equipment including 5 axis CNCs, lathes, mills, surface grinders, EDM- wire and electrode, and others
- Fluent in computer aided design and/or engineering tools including MasterCam, SolidWorks, Enterprise PDM, DraftSight and AutoCAD.
