- Proposes, plans, and creates videos on zero-waste topics; Participates in creating and implementing communication and outreach initiatives and campaigns; Assists in outreach opportunities, including tabling; Staff Appreciation Day, and other celebrations; Assists in the preparation and creation of reports and articles; Identifies communication needs in relation to the University’s Zero-Waste Goals and creates content focused on those needs.
- In addition, the Content Creator utilizes social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote recycling operations initiatives; Writes, reviews, edits, and updates content for websites; and conducts keyword research and employs Search Engine Optimization ( SEO ) techniques to optimize website content and increase site traffic; Contextualizing findings.
- MS Windows/Office; Driver’s License — Preferred Ability to produce entertaining or educational material for digital media and offline content that engages new and existing customers; Ability to blend client’s content guidelines with one’s creativity and curiosity utilizing various content types; Analyses web traffic to measure the success of the content.
- Bachelor’s Degree — English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
