- Perform, train junior staff, and oversee biotic resource surveys and assessments in the field using ESRI field maps and sub-meter GPS data collection.
- Perform, train junior staff, and oversee protocol-level rare plant surveys, vegetation community mapping, and/or habitat assessments in the field.
- Lead preparation of biotic reports, aquatic resource assessments and wetland delineations, and associated mitigation plans in compliance with state and federal requirements, serving in roles ranging from lead technical expert to QA/QC.
- At least 7 years of consulting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role, that involves oversight, QA/QC, technical writing, survey design, impact assessment, and multi-agency permitting.
- Solid grasp of the key biological or wetland ecology impact assessment and management issues within the public utility sector, as well as a high degree of technical competence and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices.
