- Extensive experience in utilizing all available advertising channels, ad production, media sales and negotiating, social media, experiential event marketing and public relations is preferred.
- Manage and advance TriMet's strategic marketing strategy and promotional plans designed to engage, attract, and retrain new and existing riders (customers) with a focus on multicultural engagement in TriMet's creative, messaging and marketing-communication channels.
- This position will report to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, and help to build dedicated brand programs (e.g., social, mass media, experiential) to engage with multicultural audiences in the tri-county area (Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties).
- Coordinate efforts between external advertising agency and/or creative advertising firms and internal Creative Services/Rider Communication departments on joint projects.
- Support the ongoing development, refinement and evolution of the Public Affairs team's strategy through partnerships with outside marketing/communications/creative agencies to drive ridership and fare programs with multicultural audiences.
