- The CHFM manager refines, implements, and upholds archival policies and procedures regarding processing, documenting, and accessing archival collections, including processing incoming archival records for research use.
- This position supervises and trains interns and volunteers, manages the Board of Curators, provides administrative oversight of all activities related to CHFM including budget management and website maintenance, and coordinating/processing oral history donations.
- The CHFM manager administers three initiatives: The Sandy L. Panther Fellowship, Oral History Grant, and CHFM Student and Resident Essay Contest.
