- The Department of Facilities is seeking a Maintenance Technician II with trade skills and the ability to perform skilled maintenance, repairs and/or construction tasks within the County's parks, trails, facilities, and recreational, natural resources and open lands areas.
- Preferred skills will include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, landscape management, masonry, metal work/welding, etc.
- The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance, repairs and/or construction tasks requiring trade skills such as (depending on assignment): carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, painting, masonry, concrete, asphalt, and landscape management (building campuses, park lands, trails, roads, parking lots, woodlands, etc
- Landscape management and grounds maintenance (e.g., mowing; weeding; trash pickup; mulching; planting and removing trees, bushes, flowers; road, parking lots, trail and culvert maintenance and repair, etc
- Metal work, welding, etc.
