- Job Description Title: Automation Technician Reports to : Director of Automation Job Description/Purpose: Implement already designed solutions to ensure quality and stability of automation systems through future expansions, replacements, or upgrades that directly impact all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and growth efforts.
- Responsible for program adjustments of automated system equipment including PLC's, HMI's, Robots, CNC, and AGVs. Responsible for providing data for process documentation of automated systems including system parameters, operation procedures, BOM, safety acceptance and supporting automated machine drawings that need updated.
- Qualifications Associate's degree in mechatronics, electro-mechanical, controls or related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years working in a manufacturing industry supporting automation systems environment as a technical operations and/or automation engineer focused on troubleshooting of process and automation issues and bottlenecks.
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Omron PLC's, Festo, and Omron Servo programming.
