- The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Shift Supervisor is to oversee the daily work required to maintain the fleet of revenue and non-revenue vehicles for the transit system.
- The Maintenance Shift Supervisor monitors work tasks to ensure safety and so that all city, state, regional, and federal guidelines and regulations are met or exceeded.
- Reviews Pre-Trip Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports to develop work orders and address any defects
- Assigns work tasks and work orders to Mechanics, Service Workers and Utility Workers
- Compiles information to develop/maintain database used for fleet maintenance and reporting.
