- Under general supervision of the Director of Operations, The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the planning, managing, and overseeing all activities related to maintaining the facility and its operating systems such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, carpentry and grounds keeping.
- The Maintenance Manager will work with the Director of Operations to oversee vendors and maintain accurate record keeping of building equipment and its upkeep.
- The Hampton Roads Convention Center is a fast-paced environment requiring regular multi-tasking and overlapping deadlines.
- The Maintenance Manager must have the ability to walk extended distances and climb stairs.
- Maintain current Globally Harmonized System (GHS), former Safety Data Sheet (SDS), on all products and ensure proper labeling and warning are posted.
