- Position Summary :The Maintenance & Controls Technician will manage automation controls to ensure production lines are running efficiently.
- Also, they must have the ability to work with various brands of PLC, PC and motion control products.
- Expertise in technical writing and documentation skills using CAD and Microsoft Office are needed along with a knowledge of Six Sigma and other problem-solving tools including Lean, 6S and Kaizen.
- Understanding and applying engineering tools including: FMEA, APQP, Gage R&R, statistical techniques (Cpk, SPC), design of experiments (DOE) and problem solving (i.e. DMAIC).
- Developing Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMPs), implementing and training others for product specific Work Instructions (WIs), and creating in-process control systems.
