The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider.. With 971 beds, a specialized Orthopedic & Spine Tower, a Level III Regional Neonatal ICU, and the largest Emergency Department and Level 1 Trauma Center in the state with our own specialized Red Shirt Trauma Program, there are many opportunities to apply your knowledge and skills.. Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The individual provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background. The LPN implements technical nursing procedures according to established policies and procedures and plan of care, assists and reinforces routine patient education, and documents patient care appropriately.  The LPN communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care. FTE Options: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Weekend Shifts Available: 1st Shift or 3rd Shift

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of State board School of Practical Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.    Experience: Experienced/New Graduate Additional Skills/Abilities:  BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
