- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinical Care Leader (CCL), Long-Term Care (LTC) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized care in the long-term care setting while under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- The Sanford Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
