Low Voltage Technician

- Technicians will be responsible for installation, placement, termination, testing, labeling and documenting various low voltage cable as well as installing, but not limited to, fire alarms, fire systems, security cameras, audio/visual systems, security systems, locks, access control systems, for both commercial and residential application.
- Cabling includes but is not limited to twisted pair cable, coax, power limited tray cable, stranded cable, solid conductor low voltage cable, CAT-6, CAT-5, single mode fiber optical cable & multi mode fiber optical cable.
- Technicians may also test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic systems that are part of customer buildings, including, but not limited to, fire alarm, temperature control, security, card access, intercom, clock, sound and A/V systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and initiate work orders to repair deficiencies.
- Perform inspections of new construction and renovation projects.
