- They are responsible for developing and writing the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP), and overseeing the Occupational Therapy Assistants who are implementing the plan prescribed in the IEP. Performance Responsibilities: 1.
- Formulate, write and implement Individual Education Plans and attend IEP meetings 2.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or graduate students and clinical fellows 3.
- Adapt and modify the environment including assistive technology and training instructional staff to meet individual needs and to help students function as independently as possible 7.
- Remain current with accepted and appropriate instructional theory, practice and research.
