- This includes successfully passing a written and hands-on pole climbing assessment and performing a successful timed pole top rescue.
- Individuals must be able to perform work assignments at the apprentice line worker level including distribution and/or transmission work; work emergency and overtime when the need exists; candidate must demonstrate safe working practices; have the mechanical ability to use hand/power tools, and equipment pertinent to line construction and maintenance; and can climb and work on poles, ladders, and other elevated structures.
- Candidates must successfully pass the EEI Construction and Skilled Trades Test (CAST) Test, an agility assessment, and a knowledge -based exam.
- The successful candidate should be a graduate from the Eversource Line worker Certificate Program.
- Candidates who have graduated from Eversource Line worker program will be considered with less than two (2) years of work experience.
