- The position drafts, prepares, and files legal documents in state and federal court including bankruptcy claims; acts as a liaison with clerks of court; provides secretarial and support to staff attorneys; tracks and files legislation; acts as an administrative rules coordinator; and serves as a point of contact for the Legal Division.
- Duties include:Providing technical support to staff attorneys along with drafting, coordinating, preparing, reviewing, and filing of legal documents and exhibits.
- Providing secretarial and clerical support to staff attorneys by maintaining case files, bankruptcy files, legislative files, and administrative rulemaking files.
- Reviewing and coding bankruptcy accounts, preparing and filing bankruptcy claims, notices, and motions.
- Tracking legislation, formatting and submitting bill drafts, amendments, and resolutions to Legislative Council.
